We’re thrilled to announce that Jazmine Murray is the recipient of the 2025 PKF Stewart Russell Scholarship!
This scholarship was created to support a Far North resident pursuing tertiary studies in Accountancy or Business, helping grow and empower emerging talent in our region. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised over $10,000 earlier this year to make this possible.
Meet Jazmine
Jazmine grew up on a farm in Broadwood, where she learned the value of hard work and community connection. She is now completing her final year at the University of Waikato, studying for a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Laws. Her ambition is to return to the Far North as both a qualified lawyer and Chartered Accountant, contributing to stronger businesses and opportunities for our people.
“The PKF Scholarship supports me in building the knowledge I hope to bring home,” says Jazmine. “I want to help unlock the potential of our region and ensure our communities thrive.”
What’s Next?
To continue the success of the scholarship, we’re hosting a Trivia Night with raffles on 30 January 2026. We’re currently seeking donations of items, products, services, or experiences for raffles and auctions. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.
