The Awards celebrate best practice in adopting accounting standards which provide greater transparency and consistency in reporting across the sector.

This year, we were honoured to support the Highly Commended Awardees in several categories:

🏅 Child Cancer Foundation – Supporting whānau through the toughest journeys with compassion and clarity.
🏅 Para Kore Marae – Leading the way in kaupapa Māori-led sustainability and zero waste initiatives.
🏅 Cycling Without Age Napier Trust – Bringing joy and connection to elders through the simple magic of bike rides.

It was truly inspiring to hear the stories behind the amazing causes people are working so passionately on.

A big shoutout to Stephen Tsang (PKF Withers Tsang) and Steve Lawrence (PKF Corporate Recovery) who represented us on the night.

“I’m absolutely enthralled by the passion and sacrifices many of these “for purpose” entities have contributed to our society”, said Stephen. “PKF New Zealand is proud to play a part acknowledging these heroes in our community.”

“Who knew financial reporting would highlight so many wonderful organisations and human beings who give to their community and beyond to those who are often in need,” said Steve.  “This is my second year attending these awards and each year I walk away inspired and in awe of these organisations and those who bring them to life.”

Congratulations to all the winners and entrants. We’re proud to stand alongside you in your journey of purpose and progress. 💙
