Gordon is fully involved in all aspects of audit, assurance, and business advisory services.

He provides guidance to clients, particularly audit clients, with respect to compliance with the relevant financial reporting standards particularly IFRS.  His aim is to achieve the best outcome for the client within the constraints of the applicable reporting requirements and legislation.

Gordon maintains strong relationships with clients to assist them in achieving their business and financial goals.  This involves close liaison in the areas of business planning, business structuring and financing, management issues and governance, whilst also attending to the compliance and tax requirements.

Gordon is a past chair of PKF New Zealand, and was previously a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants Professional Conduct Committee.

He has served as a director or trustee for numerous organisations, particularly within the not‑for‑profit sector, giving him deep insight into the challenges his clients face.

Industry Experience

Gordon has specialist experience in the audit of retirement villages and rest homes together with the audit of many any other organisations, including Māori entities.  He provides guidance to clients with respect to compliance with the relevant financial reporting standards with a practical focus.

Gordon has extensive advisory experience and involvement in many industries including commercial property, tertiary providers, and manufacturers.

Personal Interests

Gordon enjoys travelling and gardening as well as spending time with his family.
